Jazzy B



Jazzy B, the crown prince of Bhangra is the heart-throb favorite of bhangra fans and is famous for his ever changing unique spiky hair do’s . His actual name is Jaswinder Singh Bains and was born on April 1, 1975 in Durgapur, Nawanshahrin tehsil of Jalandhar, Punjab, India. He was moved to Vancouver, Canada with his family when he turned five. He is currently living in Birmingham, England. Till now, twelve of his studio albums are out in the market out of which two are spiritual albums.

Jazzy b’s all albums are produced by “The Music Man” Sukshinder Shinda,, who himself is the super talented artist and bhangra record producer. Both have done amazing work together and have given outstanding bhangra tracks like “ghugian Da Jorra”, “Londono Patola”, “Tera Roop” ,“Naag”, “Sardara”, “Dil Luteya”, “Soorma” etc.

The 2005 Balle – Romeo Tour was among one of the biggest tour of Jazzy B and Sukshinder Shinda which promoted their albums Balle and romeo at different places in all over world and it entertained a record crowd of about 65,000 fans in Paramount Canada’s wonderland near Toronto, Canada.
Jazzy B is so popular because of his unique style of singing and performing in this genre. Many of his music albums are based on hip hop music. His music videos are always very attractive and showcase top models, lavish lifestyle, Branded Outfits, imported sports cars and that is so much to grab the attention of viewers and to attract them.

He considers Late. S.Kuldip Manak as his role model. He also feels that working with Sukshinder Shinda has been proved really fruitful for him and he do not have to come up with projects with other producers as working with “ The Music Man” is going well. Very shortly he is coming up with his debut as an actor in a Punjabi movie named “Best of Luck”. In this movie, he is going to work with singer turned actor Gippy Grewal as well as Miss India Universe 2008, Simran Mundi.

Jazzy has won great honors in his life till now. He achieved the O.B.E. ( Officer of the Order of the British Empire ) in the 2008 Queen’s New Years Honors List for his dedicated services to music.
